JTB
has introduced the latest 2-in-1 prepaid service called "Netkad Plus Hallo"
together with the effort of KPF Comserve Sdn. Bhd. (Joint-venture Company) today
at the newly opened JTB Sengkurong Branch. The launching of Netkad Plus Hallo
was officiated by the Guest of Honor Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Awang Haji
Abdullah bin Begawan Mudi Dato Paduka Awang Haji Bakar, Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Communication.
In
this information era, everyone should be kept informed
and have access to multiple communication channels at
their fingertips to meet the IT and Telecommunication
visions of Brunei Darussalam. JTB, with its Joint Venture
Company KPF Comserve Sdn. Bhd., has played a crucial
role to provide bottom-line telecommunication infrastructure
and value-added prepaid services for its customers to
be up-to-date on the current trends around Brunei and
the world. In September 2000, JTB launched the first
prepaid Internet access service to the Brunei market.
It has since accumulated a large number of users who
are looking to enjoy a hassle-free and convenient way
of getting onto the Internet superhighway.
This
September JTB, in conjunction with KPF Comserve Sdn Bhd, is proud to announce
the latest in prepaid services. Netkad Plus Hallo is a joint venture with JTB
and KPF Comserve Sdn Bhd to integrate a calling card system into NetKad's world-class
Internet infrastructure. It allows everyone to surf the Internet AND make calls
all on one card. This 2-in-1 service is the first to be introduced in Brunei
and anywhere in the world. With this new value-added service, not only can users
log into the Internet, they can also make local, mobile and international calls
through a normal telephone.
Netkad
Plus Hallo users can now choose among the different
plans that are on offered which include the $5, $10,
$20 and $50 plans. The number of hours you can surf
the Internet depends on the Netkad Plus Hallo card value,
ie. $10 for 10 hours, while still being able to make
calls in Brunei and to more than 250 destinations worldwide.
More information on these call rates can be found on
the website at www.netkad.com.bn.
JTB
is very enthuastic about this new prepaid system and
believe that NetKad Plus Hallo will play a key role
in the future of bringing out more value-added services
to the public.
