Setting
Up a Prepaid Connection to the Internet
Setting
up your computer to use a prepaid Internet account is identical
to setting up any other standard dial-up Internet connection.
So if you are already setup to connect to the Internet (which
is likely, since you are reading this), just change the user
name, password, and phone number your computer
dials, and you will probably be able to connect easily.
In
addition, most computers have an automatic setup program,
often called a "wizard", that will set up the connection
for you, all you need to type in is the user name, password,
and a local phone number. We provide all other settings, like
IP addresses and DNS, automatically.
If
you are having trouble connecting to the Internet with your
new account, please make sure that the "username"
you are logging in with starts with your eight digit account
number followed by and that your "password" is a
six digit number.
For
example:
Username:
30152461
Password:
542154
Again,
all IP address and DNS assignment is done automatically.
